Who handles Diana (possibly now RWS) air gun parts in the states any more? I was just
spectacularly unsuccessful in finding a suitable web link, so obviously there is some
basic factoid on this I'm missing. I need to find a replacement main compression seal
for one of the air pistols, thanks.

There is a very active forum for airgun enthusiasts. Several
vendors/tuners post there daily.
I bet you could come up with several good sources for parts within an hour.

Try CrookedBarn.com -- he has seal kits for most popular air guns, or
can get them.

Diana=RWS and www.pyramydair.com USED to be the importer, not sure
about currently, took it over from the Iowa importer that they ate.
Diana is what the company uses for an airgun brand name in certain
countries, RWS in the rest. The RWS site is pretty useless, lots of
nice pictures, though.
There is also an aftermarket source for a lot of spring airgun
seals:http://www.airrifleheadquarters.com. This also has aftermarket
performance springs and accessories, should anyone be interested.
Parts only, no gunsmithing or help. If you can't build your own
mainspring jack, this is NOT the site for you.

Not sure what the seal looks like on your gun, but I had a seal go bad
on my Beeman pistol. I visited smallparts.com and was able to pick up
some replacement O-rings that worked spectacularly well.

Depending on what model, you might find one through James Maccari. He
makes spring and seal kits that are highly regarded. I think he has a
web site.
Rich in Mich does a pretty good repair business as well, could either
fix it or sell you the parts.
I replaced the seals on my Diana 6 (the recoilless model with the
counterweighted dual pistons) a few years back. Wish I still had it,
it vanished in one of the moves. That job was truly a pain in the
butt, incredibly fine threaded screws that had to be aligned JUST
right. But good thing, if it's a pistol most likely you won't need a
spring compressor.
