All kinds of flowers and plants have complex chemicals in them and
most can be used for good and bad. If you find yourself in the
hospital and in pain be sure to explain to your doctor how you don't
want any pain killers derived from these flowers.

More to the point and on topic would be the sorcerers violet which
has been used for ages and the drugs derived from it has saved a lot
of kids suffering from leukemia.

Don't forget hops. God knows how many have died thanks to that
flower. Then the favorite of you TG and MT... Buds! (in MT's case it's
Buddha buds). Tobacco may kill more than all other plants and it's
legal.

The interesting thing is how we choose to use plants. I like Che's
use of violets.

So poppies are just "bad apples"? Hops too? Wake up, Larry. Stare
at this for awhile and you may finally start to get an understanding
of the patterns that bind us all together: http://www.sufiyo.net/presentationpics/GHPH_sm.jpg

For scent, how about Freesias? My African Violet is just starting
to bloom again but it doesn't have near the scent of the freesias that
are blooming now. Is there something special about scented African
Violets?

BTW, I highly recommend the special self watering pots that are a
pot inside a pot. I've had one for more than 4 years now.

Oh good Wolli, you and TG, must be against guns as well, they kill
millions of people each year. Cars kill millions too, shall we ban
cars? So does tobacco and alcohol. Should we ban fast food, and corn
syrup?
You Cons say you are all for freedom, yet you are hiding under
everyone's bed.

Let the village idiot smoke all the heroin he wants! I think it's
been good for him.

CG content: Rosettes - what's the history of using this term for
the
guitar sound hole design?

It began with the Mythological Guitar see:
http://www.leachguitars.com/11customshop.htm

Look for the "Floating World Guitar" also on this site.

That pretty much sums it up, imo.

Che'

Now, can we stay on task and get back to violets!

No. We have to spend just a little more time regarding this web site
for
this commercial announcment. I have a custom made archtop made by
Harvey
Leach. It is a wonderful instrument.

Harvey just started a new company that builds a folding travel guitar.
Check them out athttp://www.voyageairguitar.com/. They are incredible.
I've played two of his prototypes and will be receiving one of the
production models to try out in the near future.

I have no financial interest in this. Just thought I'd litter up the
newsgroup a bit.

Now, back to your scheduled programing....

John

John, What The Hell! You to, Brutes? Please try and stay on task
( topic ) and let's all sing from the same damned hymnal!!! The topic
is " Larry, care to discuss scented African Violets? "

P.S. Why not mention some of your old guitars and that _You_ do have
every Barios Collection published in the world plus a few. Btw,
another Barrios original is on the train.

Indeed I do! I figure I will be 134 by the time I make my way through all
of them.

I sold off several of my guitars that weren't getting played because of
physical issues

I got it. Much thanks!

Back to smelly blooms...

John

Sorry about that, milliflora dude. I've been a bit too busy lately to
hang wit cheyawl.

I'm sure you can find some barnyard animals who will be happy to play
with you if you use the right bait.
