Yeesh. Where do I start?

I *want* to like this series, but you can so clearly see the strings.

Cute Bed & Breakfast girl now hangs out with Bob Newhart *why* exactly?
Other than everybody being tired of monologues. (because they wanted to
save money on the B&B sets)

I'm amazed Old Boss is a series regular; be interesting to see where
that goes.

Bob Newhart *must* have a teleporter, and yet why didn't he teleport
into Old Boss' office directly like Amanda Waller did? (because they
don't want to show the teleporting effect, and couldn't figure another
way to stage it)

Speaking of which, Amanda Waller was a credited guest star, but she
didn't show up did she?

Bianca Scully (literally) runs into the bank robbery in progress, and
tries to beat up all three bad guys with her bare hands. Again, SHOOT
SOMEBODY. (Yes, later we find out they're warm and fuzzy bad guys you
don't want to shoot, but there was no reason not to shoot them at the
time.)

Same notation for the escape; bunch of FBI and Homeland Security agents
having a bank robber stolen from them, and nobody pulls a gun?

Why didn't Bob Newhart just shoot Old Boss with the harmless memory
erasing Zat gun? (I bet we never hear about the memory erasing again)

Why do Our Hero and Biana Scully only have one communicator between
them? Are there only two of those communicators total?

Our Hero and Biana Scully take the record and let the bad guys go. Um,
hello? That record IS A COPY. They've got THE MASTER TAPES SITTING IN
THOSE BOXES RIGHT THERE.

Why didn't the bad guys just use the record to get the tapes away from
the record producer, instead of robbing banks to buy them? He wouldn't
even have to KNOW THEY WERE GONE - just leave the empty boxes behind.

If the bad guys didn't have the composers work, and nobody could get IN
it to steal it, how did they have that never released record in the
first place?

Given that the FBI knows the identity of the recording engineer bank
robber, and even had him in custody, do we really think it will be that
long before they track the bad guys down? And find out that Our Heroes
let them go? And given that the bad guys assaulted a bunch of FBI
agents, and the FBI thinks they still have the assault capability (which
they in fact do), somebody's gonna shoot first next time.

OK, you can sit there, and try an analyze this all you want.

But I was totally sold on this episode, simply based on the words:

LINDY BOOTH

They could have had Lindy read the darn phonebook, and I still would
have been entertained! ;p

Ian (That said, I hope the next episode is better than this one was...)

Damn, I forgot to ask you if that was Lindy in my original post. I
thought it was, but isn't she on another series?

Oh, and Bianca Scully got to feel Lindy's boobies!

2) It damn well better be

At this rate, I'm starting to look forward to the return of Sanctuary.

Did she say more than two words in the entire episode? For a while
there I thought they were going to avoid having to credit her by not
giving her any lines at all.

But she sure was cute when she was putting on perfume. The only problem
was that they focused on her so much that it foreshadowed that she was
going to be the villain. But at the end I almost cried watching her hug
her father.

So do I, I really do, but this episode really stretched my ability to.
I am hoping future episodes get better. The whole 'they were stealing
the money for a good reason, they are really nice, the robbery not our

You mean the same "Sanctuary" that the SyFy channel is running ads for
its 2nd season? So if you are right we can be sure that "Warehouse 13"
will be back for a 2nd season, which seems reasonable based on the
ratings for the first 2 episodes.

Despite all the little nit picking things that one can find wrong with
almost every show on TV today, I find the show enjoyable and fun to watch. I
hope it lasts for a while longer so that it can pick up a following. It
certainly isn't like all the other who-dun-it shows.

True, but I just get back to the fact that there is nothing definitive
to tie the engineer to the others as far as this crime wave is
concerned, so if no one caves in under pressure, then they'll all
survive a little attention from a Cylon working the Chicago field office.

(And if Seven of Twelve is some bastard offspring of Tricia Helfer and
Jeri Ryan, I'd love to see how *that* came about.)

Agreed. Besides, despite its flaws, we need shows like this to
(hopefully) generate new fans for shows like this who will (hopefully)
encourage the networks and Syffies of the world to create more SF shows,
rather than the 1,815th and 1,816th renditions of Law and Order or CSI.

just like Sanctuary.

So far I hope you are wrong. It seems like a FUN program.

It's not significantly different from those two "Librarian" movies that
aired on TNT with Noah Wyle (from ER as Dr. Carter) and Jane Curtin (from
SNL).

Or even the three Librarian movies.

None of which I've gotten around to seeing yet! :o
