I am looking for some freeware to edit PDF documents. No crude data
(.doc or w/e) available, only a normal PDF document and nothing more.
(For this reasons I can't use a PDF printer driver.)
The application only needs to add new text to existing pages, graphic
is
not important. No editing for existing text is needed, only adding new
text like you send the PDF to your printer and write text on it with a
pen or legacy typewriter. |

I use PDF 2 Word http://www.hellopdf.com/ but it often does not convert
the format correctly and I have to go back and clean things up. But for
straight text without a lot of fancy fonts/bullets/etc. it seems to work
alright. |

PDF Xchange Viewer can do any kind of annotation you need.http://www.docu-track.com/home/prod_user/PDF-XChange_Tools/pdfx_viewer/
If you're printing it immediately Foxit Reader will let you add text with
the Typewriter tool, but if you save it as a file, the free version puts a
advertising mark on the page.http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

Not sure if it still works with Foxit Free, but I recall somebody
saying you could "print" your annotated PDF to a PDF printer driver,
thereby producing a ... well... annotated PDF.

Wow! This helped a lot. :)
PDF Xchange Viewer has a free version and I can add my notes.
Unfortunately it adds some unacceptable advertisements if you want to
store it. But it doesn't matter, pdfcreator is freeware and a pdf
printer driver.
Now I can add text to existing pdf files with freeware only and
without advertisements. Great work. Thanks a lot! |

PDF Xchange shouldn't add any advertising with any of the normal markup
tools,-typewriter,callout box,sticky notes,stamp tools,etc.The only
things that are in the PRO tools that add advertising is inserting pages
and the comment tools. If you stay in the "Tools" menu all those work
without adding anything when you save.
